REVIEW: The Ripper Knows The Score

THE RIPPER KNOWS THE SCOREThe Ripper Knows The Score has been getting a lot of airplay and some amazing reviews recently.

The guys over at TWO GUYS METAL REVIEWS have created an awesome article about the new album.

You know what is truly impressive to me? When a band can stay together for 20 years, at that point, they don’t need to be super innovative, dynamic or anything, they are staples of their scene and deserve no small measure of respect. So what about when one of these bands releases a compilation record of their two previous releases based around one of the most notorious serial killers of the 20th century?  Well then you have Solitary and their new compilation The Ripper knows the Score a stunning testament to the bands years of hard work and dedication.

SOLITARY destroy Manchesters Headbangers Balls gig

On Aug 3rd 2013 Solitary where invited to play the Headbangers Balls gig in Manchester supporting the Teenage Cancer Trust. The gig, headlined by thrash favorites Xentrix, proved once again that metal is still alive and kicking with a blistering show of pure music talent.

Others on the bill included Reign of Fury and Def-con One.

Planetmosh said “Preston thrashers Solitary were Formed in 1994 and they delivered 30 minutes of precision thrash metal with an inspired cover version of Into The Pit by Testament alongside numbers from their Requiem album. They got the 1st pit action of the night and my set highlight was the thrashtastic, “Keep Your Enemies Closer”.
