Over 350 bands applied to be in the competition and but only 100 made it though.
The show was aired on Sunday 2nd February and Solitary are so far leading their heat stage. There are ten bands in the heat with each band having two tracks played live on air. Voting started when the show finished that night and will continue to accept votes till Saturday 8th February
